My Stavanger Jumper is still work in progress. From the multi-coloured yoke, to plain beige body and sleeves, I keep knitting, unraveling and starting again. I actually lost count on how many time I had to do it!
The project on the photo above (forgive the strange colours, it was taken in the evening in artificial light) had to be undone up to the yoke because it turned out too short and just strangely shaped in general. And I kept trying it on while knitting, but everything seemed fine until casting off. Ugh.

The long planned pullover for my boyfriend is finally almost ready, and all pieces are blocked. All it still requires is sewing up and knitting the neckband – sounds simple, right?
Not at all. I’ve never experienced such a mental block with any project before. Each time I prepare everything for seaming, I spend a lot of time worrying, thinking and analyzing, only to put it away in the end. Ouch…

A long, long time ago, in November last year, I have decided to crochet jumpers for my parents’ two rescue dogs. Those jumpers have never been finished, as I thought it would be cruel to force any living creature to wear them. I decided to wait until my knitting skills improve enough to knit some nice dog garments instead.
Unfortunately, the older of the dogs, Tosia, passed away some time ago. I still find it hard to believe that she’s gone and we all miss her a lot, including her adoptive sister Nika, who still refuses to sleep on Tosia’s favourite sleeping spots and eat where Tosia’s bowls used to be…
